You can pretty much predict a secret style icon of mine based on three things: ostentation, vulgarity and liberalness with animal print. Goldie Hawn in Overboard, therefore, probably ranks highest on the bad-tasteometer. In fact, *checks figures*, yep, just as I had suspected. It's burst into flames.
If you haven't seen this movie, I suggest you visit here on the double and spend an afternoon gawping at the spectacle of her zebra thong swimsuits, lamé housecoats and an abundance of sequins that would make Ashish weep. Actually, it's worth it just to see the revolving shoe wardrobe that Kurt Russell's character makes for her. Cher from Clueless' closet, the original!

Good golly, its sometime quite scary the style icons we share tee hee! I'm not ashamed to admit this is my FAVOURITE film, and Joanna Stayton is my FAVOURITE muse.

Ha, I LOVE this film! That high-cut zebra print one piece is something else! It makes me feel uncomfortable just looking at it!

As a child, many wintry and rain-soaked Sunday afternoons were spent watching - and utterly adoring - this film.
It must have been an inspiration as I am still working on the 'rich' and 'bitch' parts... but, by God, have I mastered animal print!
